Of Kids, Cybercafes and JB

I completely forgot to post updates in the blog. Must’ve been the ‘grace period’ of me getting used to living back with my parents. Nothing bad, but I just find it interestingly weird that I feel awkward living here for the first few weeks.Things are better now. I still don’t have my own internet connection at home, so I would have to go to the Cybercafé once in a while to check my mail and stuff. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be.

How To: Change Windows XP’s Visual Style

Ok ladies and gentlemen - many of us wanted to try to customize our desktops but we’re trapped in using so called “skinning apps” for this purpose, i.e StarDocks’s WindowBlinds or TGTsoft’s StyleXP. Don’t get me wrong here, both softwares are excellent and have their own pros and cons. But the question arise when:

1) one is not willing to pay for this
2) one refused to go to the underground’s way (cracks and stuff)
3) one simply refuse to install another app on their comp just to make it looks cooler

There is a solution, ladies and gentlemen! Yes, I said there is a solution. It’s less-hassle, no cost with minimal risk. Read on and find out.

How To: Hide Your TagBoard

I’ve come out with this (seemingly silly, but practical) idea of hiding my TagBoard - initially to protect the outlook of the layout, because usually they kind of spoil the overall look, no matter how nice you tweaked the TagBoard.

Weird People on MSN

Lately, I’ve come across weird people on my MSN Messenger (they just started to add me and talked as if they know me, well not that I can understand). Apparently, on some country, my name spelling seemed like a girl’s name. Here’s some of the conversasion examples:
