I don’t know if the kids nowadays are lazy, taking everything for granted or just plain hopeless. I had a conversation with a 10 year old kid just a little while ago.

kid : bang 3 jam berapa?
me : hmm… 3 x 2 berapa?
kid : tak tahu lah
me : kira lah, tu… guna jari
kid : *scratches head and smiling silly* er… dah lupa lah macam mana
me : *shows fingers gesture* okay, ni 2, tambah ni 2, berapa?
kid : uhmm.. empat
me : ha tahu pun, kalau tambah lagi 2?
kid : enam, oooo…
me : ha, kan senang nak kira?

(Translation)

kid : bro, how much for 3 hours?
me : hmm… how much is 3 times 2?
kid : i don’t know
me : well, why don’t you count with your fingers?
kid : *scratches head and smiling silly* er… I forgot how to
me : *shows fingers gesture* okay, how much is this 2, plus this 2?
kid : uhmm.. four
me : ah, see? its easy. Now add another 2?
kid : six, ooooh…
me : See? told you it’s easy

At first I thought the kid is playing a prank on me. But right after that, he runs out of the premise, and tells his friends…

Weh, 3 Jam 6 ringgit lah!

(Translation)

Hey, 3 Hours is 6 ringgit lah!

… followed by some gestures of delight from the rest of his friends. This caught me by surprise, because at first I thought he is just messing around, but when a whole group of five or six well-looking (and well dressed) kids in the same condition, I’m speechless. I don’t know if I’m expecting too much. But this is so unreal. To me, they appear hopeless. Perhaps one day we need to bring calculators to school to do simple standard four math papers. Sigh.

Alright, this is an annoyingly simple trick to make lots of little stars (for use with some night scene, perhaps). All you need is Photoshop 7.0 onwards.

(Note: In this example, I will be using solid, plain background for the stars. Feel free to load with whatever thing you need to add the stars on. Or you gan use Google Image with the keyword ‘Night Sky’, hehe)

Yep, one of those days again. If you guys think I’m worthy to chat with, just pm me and I’ll add you guys. Otherwise I wouldn’t want to have 5000 people on my list but nobody talks with me.

Don’t have to tell me about what I’ve already known - sometimes people should try to understand that nobody is obligated to answer their messages. Yeah i could be an ignorant, but it saved me hell lot of trouble.

If any of you have noticed, I’ve changed my layout again - yeah after quite a while.

This time though, I’ve decided that I’ll try on the fluid, non-width constrained style. I want to improve on my CSS knowledge, so this layout will be quite an experiment for me. If you spot any visual error (or any that you think could be it - especially if you’re a non-Firefox user), kindly let me know (email, or im, or comment here - anything).

I’m still flying btw :D (and I still hates IE’s broken CSS model)

This is another pointless post. I want to post, but I don’t know what to write. I was about to send bebe some wallpapers few minutes ago, and on the way navigating into the wallpaper folder, I accidentally opened a folder containing thuosands of screenshots that I made throughout my computing years. Some of them caught my eyes.

Let’s call them ‘Exploring Explorer’

Looks like it’s been a while since I last write anything in this blog. It’s always like that for me, don’t you guys think so? I mean, I would be silent for a long while and then suddenly write alot - it’s like spikes, yeah, much like those TNB spikes that burned serveral of my precious electronic gadgets.
