Some Random Shots

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

I was archiving the images and video clips from my N70 earlier (out of boredom). Found some stuff for me to post here. Nothing extraordinary, but some are amusing (to me, that is).

Bangsar LRT Stations
Reason why not many cars can park at Bangsar LRT station. Look at the gaps!

Service Pack 3!?
This is a customized, modified, tampered (whichever suits your style) installation of Windows XP SP2 + Patches + Common Drivers That Doesn’t Come with Windows XP + MS Office 2003 - All in one CDROM! (I wished he had done the interface a bit more Microsoft-like, rather than this “trying to be cool” style)

Book of the Bitch
I just love the title.

Get paid to Blog as easy as 1 and 2

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

In relation to my two AdSense-related posts (here and here), I've received quite a number of feedbacks (I'm still wondering why they didn't comment on these posts. Maybe they're too shy *grins*) from the visitors. Among the questions raised from them (take note that majority of these people have zilch knowledge in HTML) is:

"Is there an easier way to incorporate blogging and adsense automatically?"

I did a bit of research, and landed on one particular site that does exactly that - Blogging and AdSense!

SoulCast - Get paid to blog about anything!

SoulCast.com is a recently-born service that works like any other blog services out there (blogger, livejournal, ebloggy, etc). To most of these people editing HTML code, in order to place the AdSense codes, is a daunting task, simply because they have no idea how, where, or even when.

So all you people who wanted to blog and earn at the same time, but lacks the knowledge to be able to do them on your own, check out SoulCast, sign up and follow their instructions. They will automatically incorporate YOUR AdSense code into your Blog. Easy as pie :)

P/s: You loose certain amount of control (of which you can do to other blogging sites, but needs some HTML knowledge) - especially on where to place the ads. Don't have to worry so much, because as how I see it, they placed the ads in one of the stratergic location.

Honestly, I havent really tried this service properly other than merely make an accout, a test post and a test view. So far, everything works like a charm - In less than 10 minutes! (of course, provided I already have my own adsense account. For those that don't have your adsense account yet, you can refer to my guide on how to get one)

AdSense Do’s and Don’ts

Tuesday, June 27th, 2006

Quite a number of people have already adopted Google AdSense into their website/blogs in order to monetize them (and perhaps earn some pocket money on the way). However, in the extreme excitement of seeing your profit piling up as the day goes, alot, and I really mean alot of publishers (namely you, who owns a website or blog with adsense) made the most obvious mistakes in using the Adsense (If you have no idea what am I talking about, take a look at my previous post - Fund your website (or blog) with Google AdSense (Part 1)).

Most of these mistakes is a direct violation of Google's Terms & Conditions for running their AdSense program, as well as the AdSense Policies. This means if they found out about your misbehaviours (it is really easy to detect), you might get your AdSense account banned. Forever. Yes, along with all the hard-earned cash in it!

Let's see what are the top mistakes people always made in publishing AdSense on their site, (more...)

Monday, June 26th, 2006

ADsenseIf you've been doing blog-hopping or even read about certain wealth generating opportunities online, chances are you might have heard of Google's Adsense program. If you haven't heard of this, let me tell you this - what if you can technically run a free domain and website host, and even might be getting certain amount of profit on the way? No, I'm not lying. This is proven my so many people around (and of course, after tying it myself).

No Parking Please

Anyways, me and Bahar accidentally went into Plaza Sental (we're supposed to go to KL Sentral!) and tried to park our cars. After seeing the suspicious surroundings, we decided to park at the KL Sentral anyways, however, on the way out, there's nobody manning the parking booth! So it created a mini-jam on the ledge.

About ten minutes later, one attendant come and ask everybody to reverse and go through another lane. What the?

Kucing KelabuYesterday, Bebe googled for the word "kucing kelabu" for fun, and ended up in this thread that talks about a kucing kelabu (grey cat). We find it funny, and sad at the same time.

Get-Rich-Quick Scheme in the name of God?

Monday, June 19th, 2006

I usually just delete/thrash the mail/emails I get regarding any "Get rich Quick" (essentially a pyramid scheme, where you have to deposit certain amount of money into someone's account and then register your name as participant, and then spam everybody with the same mail with your name and account number instead. Those who fell for the mail will then deposit the cash into your account and then repeat the process using theirs) schemes. However, lately they have gotten so smart to touch some of our soft spots, that I couldn't really resist to post this here.

Lately, I've been busy visiting Bebe's family (for certain occasion), and Bebe have been busy visiting and going out with my family too!

Another thing. A kitten is about to be born soon. Stay tuned.

I know this is a short post, but it should confirm certain stuff that some people are wondering!
