Some journalists deserve to be spanked hard. I really hope these people at least bother to LEARN and KNOW what each of the term they use in the press actually means (the editor is also probably deserve to get some run-overs). Thanks to them, a shit-load of misunderstandings occur (big part often comes from those who knows shit of the subject and simply jump into the bandwagon to make themselves appear intelligent, non-ignorant and up to date).
Now tell me, bloggers, netters, forumers, surfers, doesn’t this reporter now makes paultan.org (yes I love cars) appear the same as lowyat.net forums (yes I go here to read people bash each other while eating pop corn. My only form of entertainment for now)?

P/s: I hope whoever wrote this article is not that ‘particular person’ who claims all his knowledge is correct, accurate and up to date, whereas in reality, he got A mixed up with D, and he calls B as ‘J’.

maybe they meant some of those popular blogs that talked about politic and start to wording out their frustration wih the current gov, then some naive kids start to agree with them, and somehow they create an online-anti-gov group or sumthing.

XD lol, oyaji san with their persakon, and opening random forums/blog sites, we should recommend them to deadfrog.org / 4chan.com lol. but really, even in forums, if you only read one thread and start to make impression out from it, well thats when the hassle will all start. “take your time reading / use the forum search engine at the very least” frankly I think forums are only fancy among youngsters, adults.. well they go into more “interesting” stuffs :P

Simple.
We know what’s a forum right? The multi-threaded discussion boards (like nexus board, src board, lowyat.net), where discussions are made within specific topics, and categories
Whereas a blog, most of the time, only one (or a few) authors generally post their opinions (or anything) and people visit, read and comment on that particular post.
This journalist (and editor) successfully equate these two different things together.

Just write as they like, thinking it is the same thing, when the structure and design is totally different.
Thanks to these kind of people, alot of people in public who knows shit about blogs and forums will talk about it as if they frequent either, when the case is otherwise.
