Earlier last year, I’ve posted some sort of rant related to JPJ and JPN Putrajaya. However, an interesting thing happened - this post often being viewed by someone who is seeking directions to get to these department instead.
If you happen to be one of these people, I am terribly sorry you have to read my rant instead of finding your direction. So to make up for that, here’s some basic direction guide to those buildings. Note that my guide is heavily based on landmarks, popular ones that is. If you are not familiar with Putrajaya’s layout, I would suggest you to ask around for directions to the Putrajaya Mosque (Masjid Putrajaya) first, before proceeding with this guide.
How do I get to Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) Putrajaya?
(Click the thumbnail to view full size) Getting to the JPJ from the Mosque Square (Putra Square) is pretty simple, although on the way you will be seeing three quarter of what is around the Putrajaya’s roundabout!
Note that there’s two exits from the Mosque Square, so make sure you take the one that is not connected to the bridge (the exit that you are supposed to take is the one next to the Prime Minister’s Office. The road is smaller here).
From this point on, keep going straight until you finally on the roundabout (see map). Now go along the roundabout until you see a sign that says “Parcel D” to your left. Take this exit and you’re there.
How do I get to Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara (JPN) Putrajaya?

From the Mosque Square, take the exit via the bridge, and head straight on, until you see a sign that shows the JPN on your right. That’s it! (see map for clearer picture).
