Watching Animes & Movies now a Pleasure
I got a call from the home entertainment vendor this morning, and guess what? My 32″ Boner (According to Fazri) is here!
That’s Windows Media Center running with my semi-broken wireless keyboard and mouse :D Finally those junk have a use!
The home theater system is still waiting to arrive though, so I’ll live with the internal speakers, which IMHO is pretty good :D
Note: I know this is nothing compared to those Full-HD 52″ or 60″ screens, but this is pretty much and achievement for me! Plus my house isn’t that big to suit anything larger than a 37″

BOONNEEERRRR!!!! O.0″”
Wow… you’re running Windows Media Center. And the monitor’s SHINY.
Only the rims are shiny (I hate it because of that, but oh well, good price :p). The surface itself is matte (like any other LCD screens)
*looks lovingly*
Bilakah HT mahu tiba, wahduh wahduh
Minggu Depan Cik Mary!

Menunggu waktu anda beli xbox 360 je.. baru lah best!
What kind of specs is your pc running Windows MCE on? What kind of home theater system are you getting?
This reminds me…. someone (Kei) suggested I make a guide for other people who want to make an HTPC that can run rings around a dedicated PVR. It’s a derivative from my Uber Linux Box Project. You can put it in the same box or have different boxes, since the HTPC box would need fine-tuning, which any geek would love to do, and also stability, which is very important (GF must be able to watch TV or video without seeing errors ^_^). You can hook it up to Astro and record as much as you want as long as there’s enough HDD space, and even watch your anime collection :P
I have everything I need to write it, including what parts to buy (or recycle from old PCs), what tools to use, recommendations on design to blend in with your living room environment (we don’t want it to look or even sound like a PC, but rather look like a living room decoration), software recommendations, troubleshooting tips, remote control considerations (you can combine those 3 remotes in your pic into just 1), etc.
The only thing I don’t have is time, since as Baha and some others know, I am busy on something very big, huge, gigantic. I’ll put it up when I can. But if you have any questions, feel free to ask. You know where to find me.
