Here In My Home

Monday, May 19th, 2008

I was curious on why Chai and Wilz suddenly put up their blog links on their Google Talk status message (well, Wilz probably have put it up more often), but I never seen them put it up together. I clicked on each of their blogs and voila - both of them posted about the very same thing! - http://www.malaysianartistesforunity.info/

Check it out guys! They have produced a video (available for download at the site) to deliver a very important message to Malaysians - Unity.

Here’s a Youtube video in case you wanted to watch it right here.

I’m glad that this project is started!

New Home!

Sunday, May 11th, 2008

This weekend we’re busy moving home! We’re getting out of Cyberia Warzone and now moved about 10km away to a much quieter and peaceful place in Sri Kembangan.

Some photos:

Some KucingKelabu logistics trade secret of moving house with a car

Part of the stuffs that have been transferred. Many thanks to Bahar for the boxes!

This is what happened when a trolley went berserk (or maybe the owner’s lack of attention) - I broke the fridge’s vegetable compartment :(

Bloo now have a partner :D

Dinner time! I just noticed that I would need to pay an extra RM 2.00 to make sure the food is “safe”. Haha!

Make You Own Music with iPhone & iPod Touch

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

The developers at MooCowMusic have produced a few simple tools, when coupled with creativity, can produce amazing results. These tools are called Drummer, Guitarist and Pianist.

Being a not-so musically educated person, all I can do is produce some simple 8-beat drums, play some funny tones on the Guitarist and a classic “Marry Had A Little Lamb” on the Pianist. There is, however a 3-man band that called themselves the iBand that started producing songs from these apps!

Cyberia: Your New 3rd World Condominium

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

First of all, I’m sorry if I seemed to offend anyone that are living, developing, managing or maintaining Cyberia “Smart Homes” Condominium in Cyberjaya.

I have been living in these apartments close to two and a half years now, and it seems to me that there is a certain trend of annoyance on every year. It started with loud cheering, dancing, jamming and speaker-blasting event on every night back in 2006 that runs up to 2007. I don’t care if you want to party or showing off your new speaker system, but please, living in a relatively dense population area is different than living in your own bungalow somewhere in the dessert. The residence here seems to have the least amount of respect of all the places that I’ve been staying in. (more…)

Silent Ringtone - Keep Annoying Callers Away

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

There’s once when I was Googling for silent ringtones, and I keep on stumbling upon so-called “teenager’s silent ringtone“. These ringtones are made in such high frequency that they claim most people in their parent’s generation are not able to hear due to the deterioration of their hearing.

The thing about these ringtones is that I can hear them, and they hurt my head quite astoundingly. I just want a completely silent ringtone to use!

“Why silent ringtone? Can’t you just mute your phone?” - some might ask. The purpose of having a silent ringtone is so that I can assign it to any people that I might not want to answer their calls immediately, if not at all. So after some rounds of frustation, I downloaded Audacity, and make one of my own.

Here’s the silent ringtones if you’d like to use:

Happy silencing!

Installer 3.1 for iPhone & iPod Touch Released!

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

A new version of Installer for iPhone and iPod Touch have been released earlier today. I did not fiddle it around too much to discover every new feature that it sports, but I did notice that they have finally implemented a search bar in the Packages selection page.

Finally, my long prayer have been answered! Kudos to the developers at Nullriver Software and RiP Dev of this one wonderful tool that opens all possibilities to install any desired 3rd party applications!
