Fird's Domain

About Fird

Fird is a fraction of my given name. Some people call me ‘Ross‘, which is another fraction of my given name. I’m a manager for one of the technical consultant teams in one of the leading IT giants in the industry. I’ll leave it to you guys to figure it out. I dwell in a faraway land in Cyberjaya. The responses I get from my colleagues when they asked me where I live always amuses me. Oh come on, 42km away isn’t as crazy as those who stays in Seremban and commute everyday to the heart of KL to work, right?

About The Blog

Fird’s Domain, even though it sounds very corny (cliche?) is what you can call a blog of some sort. I’ll try not to whine so much and talk less about non-important stuffs such as my hectic life. This site serves as single point of sharing stuffs that I think viewers might find interesting, as well as getting a third person perspective of my potentially skewed perceptions of my surroundings.

My Passion

I love photography, it has been my hobby since the last 17 years. I’m not that old though, just that I started young. I was with my family at Port Dickson, participating in the family day event organized by the company my dad’s working with at the moment. That’s when I saw my dad, with his Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 (fully manual, fully mechanical) and his 35-55mm lens tanking photos here and there. Often I asked myself ‘doesn’t this old man gets tired of taking photos?’. Once the photos are developed, then I can see why - he captured all the fun, the chaos of the event (it is well organized, but there’s always chaos of fun), as well as a lot of meaningful moments you don’t normally notice because it only happens in a short glance. That’s when I told myself that I wanted to make photography as my hobby.

I also love music!

My Love

I have a life companion, a soulmate whom I always refer to as ‘Bebe‘. She completes my life in so many ways that it overwhelms me so much every time I think about it. We have an alarming amount of similarities in various aspect, but managed to stay unique to each other. When my days go bad thanks to strange colleagues, and weirdos on the loose everywhere (Edo is an exception, maybe) - she’ll be the one I turn to for comfort.

Cute Furry Thing

We have a female young cat named Lily. Mischievous as she could be, she’s still adorable and makes us chuckle at her clumsy and curious behaviors. Lily is always able to sense our return by the end of the day and starts calling us, mainly for meal and companionship. Living alone at home most of the day must be tough for the black hairy asian pussy.

Room for Improvement

I welcome all of you to give any feedback and comments to my posts and this site in general, also to my photos and where I can improve myself.
