Get Your Blog Listed in the Million Blog List!

This project is organized by the MillionBlogList.com, with the objective of seeing how long does it take to list 1,000,000 blogs in the site. As mentioned by the organizers:

First off, welcome to the site. It is said that there are over 70,000,000 blogs in existence. This is an experiment to see how long it will take to get 1,000,000 blogs to list themselves on our site. Will it work? We think so. The experiment is to see how long will it take.

So why not get yourselves listed as well? It could mean free traffic or permanent record!

Got myself listed as the 451th Blog!

Want to get yours listed? Visit the MillionBlogList.com and add yourself there!

Two Useful Wordpress 2.5 Plugins (Get back your Wordpress 2.3 interface!)

Don’t fret, here’s two useful plugins for Wordpress 2.5 that will give us back the 2.3-like interface!

WP-Cache now Live

I have just installed another Wordpress plug-in called “WP-Cache“.

WP Cache

Basically what this plug-in does is to generate a static, HTML version of this blog on every first visit of the page. Then subsequent requests for the page will be loaded from this static HTML cache. This will reduce the load on the CPU and MySQL queries on the web server.

However, I am not sure whether this plug-in will cause errors. So if you face some strange looking page(s), please inform me :)

Wordpress Theme Generator

If you want to create a unique personalized WordPress theme, but don’t know how to use CSS or PHP: try this Theme Generator. Change colors, layout, header, font, several settings and preview instantly. Result is a saved to .zip file, download, extract and upload. Great new WordPress tool.
