Installer 3.1 for iPhone & iPod Touch Released!

A new version of Installer for iPhone and iPod Touch have been released earlier today. I did not fiddle it around too much to discover every new feature that it sports, but I did notice that they have finally implemented a search bar in the Packages selection page.

Finally, my long prayer have been answered! Kudos to the developers at Nullriver Software and RiP Dev of this one wonderful tool that opens all possibilities to install any desired 3rd party applications!

How To: Download & Convert Youtube Videos (AVI/iPod/Mp4)

I guess I don’t have to re-introduce what Youtube.com is, let’s get down and direct to the point!

I am aware that there are many software/services that provides video downloads of many video hosting websites. Most of these softwares aren’t free, and to my dismay, most of them have a GUI that is either ugly, disorganized, or styled too much that it annoys me.

Today, I’ll introduce a free and very simple video downloader & converter application - Vixy Converter.

Vixy.net have been running Youtube video conversion service off their website for quite a bit. Recently, they have introduced a stand-alone application that can do the exact same thing.

Things you’ll need:

  • An Internet Connection
  • Vixy Converter Beta (download at Vixy.net)

First off, download and install Vixy Converter Beta. Once the installation is complete. Start the program, and you’ll get a very familiar interface:

But from what I can see, it is a pretty powerful PDA (I read somewhere that it is powered by ARM’s 620Mhz+ chip) that can do quite a lot of stuff (the multi-touch interface adds to it, really). So far I’ve managed to use it as…

Finally, Something that “i” can Touch

It’s not even in the same building!). So like any other day, close to the lunch time, I will compile all the forms together, sort them out and pay a visit to my manager to get his approval prior to submitting the forms to HR.

However, shortly before I went off, I heard a soft chime from my computer. Indicating a new mail just arrived. I clicked and it said “Congratulations! You have won the voter’s lucky draw!

Psh. Must be a yet-another-scam-to-get-your-money-or-email crap. But I opened it anyways, out of curiosity.
